Congratulations to West’s Channing Bridges for being named the State Runner-Up for Cheerleader of the Year on Saturday at the State Comp Cheer Championships! Madi Brock from South Forsyth won the award.
West Comp Cheer Finished in 3rd place for 2nd consecutive year firmly establishing ourselves as one the top programs in the state! Congratulations to all the girls for their hard work this year. This past Saturday West Comp Cheer team placed 2nd in the Region Championship. The team will leave on Thursday for Columbus, GA to compete in the State Championships. Good Luck to the entire team and Coach Needham, Coach Al, Coach Connell, and Coach Marinello!
Comp Cheer will compete in the Region Competition on Saturday at Dawson County HS. West will compete between 11:00 – 11:30 on Saturday morning. Please stop by and support our team!

The Golden Wolverine is one of the biggest honors that the West Athletic Department bestows on a Senior athlete. The Golden Wolverine denotes a high school senior who has achieved at least 8 varsity letters over the course of their 4 years in high school.
