Girls Tryout RESULTS






There will be a Parent/player meeting at 6:45 PM on Wednesday, January 18, in the WFHS cafeteria.

Tryout results will be posted late Tuesday night.

There will be a Parent/player meeting at 6:45 PM on Wednesday, January 18, in the WFHS cafeteria, for those players and parents who make the teams.

Documents for this meeting will also be posted here on Tuesday night.


Tryouts for the WFHS soccer teams will be held Monday and Tuesday next week (January 16 and 17), with a parent/player meeting at 6:45 PM on Wednesday, January 18, for those players and parents who make the teams.

Here is the schedule for next week for tryouts:


Monday, January 16:

Boys tryout from 9 AM to 12 noon

Please show up at 8:30 AM to check in


Girls tryout from 1 PM to 4 PM

Please show up at 12:30 to check in

Tuesday, January 17:

Girls tryout from 4 PM to 5:15 PM

Boys tryout from 5:15 PM to 6:30 PM


The players will need to wear a white t-shirt, where name and tryout number can be written on.

Players also need to bring:

A ball


Cleats and shin guards

Running shoes

After tryouts, the tryout numbers of the players selected for the team will be posted on the website under Spring Sports, then Boys or Girls Soccer.

Please note that there will be conditioning sessions held tomorrow (Thursday, January 5), as well as next week on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (January 9, 11, and 12), right after school.


Update from Coach Bayush

Players and Parents,

I hope this letter finds you excited for the soccer season which is about 1 month away.

We have had to do a little shuffling with the coaching staff due to unforeseen circumstances but I wanted to let you know what was going on as far as the staff.  I have hired Donovan Hollis to coach the girls j.v.. Coach Hollis came to us this year as a school counselor and is really excited to get to know and coach the girls.

The list below is what the coaching staff will look like this year.

Sign-up for Spirit Bus to Girls Soccer State Championship @ Lunch on Thursday & Friday

West will be providing a spirit bus to Mercer University in Macon on Friday. Students may sign-up at lunch starting on Thursday.
