Meet Recap

West gymnastics placed 2nd this weekend in the Forsyth County Gymnastics Championship with an impressive 109.15. Stellar scores were posted by all four schools in a battle for the championship trophy!
On vault, sophomore Sienna Schreiber tied for 1st place with a 9.5, with senior Taylor Stocker and freshman Natalie Force tying for 6th place with a 9.1.
Sophomore Sienna Schreiber posted a record 9.9 on bars to take 1st place and freshman Olivia Blakely tied for 6th with a 9.0.
On beam, sophomore Kristin Wise stuck an amazing routine, scoring a 9.1 for 2nd place on beam. Sophomore Sienna Schreiber scored an 8.95 to tie for 5th place, senior Taylor Stocker took 7th place with an 8.8, and freshman Natalie Force tied for 8th place with an 8.7.
Sophomore Sienna Schreiber scored a 9.6 on floor to tie for 2nd place and senior Taylor Stocker scored 9.2 for 7th place.
All-around competitors scored record highs, with sophomore Sienna Schreiber scoring a 37.95 for 2nd place.

Seniors were also recognized this weekend and West Forsyth Gymnastics would like to thank Jenna Adams, Bren Bidwell, Taylor Stocker, Cameron Miller, Amanda Murgash and their families for their enthusiasm, dedication, and participation in the program through the years!  West Loves You!!!

The team will travel to Lovett on Wednesday, March 29 at 5pm for their last regular season meet before the preliminary state meet on Saturday, April 15.
